This weekend wasn't too bad playing #radio despite the solar storms. I managed 16 contacts between #20m and #40m today. I wish #10m and #6m would be a little more active, but I get the solar mess.

Well, I didn't get a chance to hunt any POTA this weekend, BUT I did finally get to put up my PAR Electronics OA-50 antenna! It's been sitting around for far too long, and now that it's getting to be summer, 6 meters should be coming alive a bit, so I'm glad to have gotten it set up.

Welp, tried to activate a park down in #pittsburgh this afternoon. Park US-0621, but 10m was not kind, and I think the park is in a dead zone. We didn't manage to get any contacts, even park to park. But hey, it was nice out, we had a good time learning from the attempt, and spending time with friends!

Ha, really need to get an FT-891 at some point so we can work #20m and #40m too when the bands aren't being friendly.

Welp, this weekend was pretty quiet for me on 10 meters POTA. I only got 5 contacts, and all of them were out of the US. Not going to complain, but ya, still would have liked a few more.

Had some decent #POTA contacts today. Started out on 10m, but didn't really get too much, so I went over to 20m and ended up with a fair few contacts, and ended on 40m for a couple more. Was definitely fun!

Не смотрел что там с солнечной и геомагнитной обстановкой, но помехи прут знатно. И симпатично складывают свой узор. :)

В данном случае антенна от моего трансивера, а, значит, это же я буду ловить и в радиостанцию. К обеду европейские радиолюбители подтянутся, надо будет тоже потолкаться :)

This weekend was kinda weird on 10 meters. I only managed 8 total #POTA contacts, and only 5 unique locations. And most of them were not in the US. But hey, I did manage to get my Spring #supportYourParks achievement!
