#Sandogasa update - now integrating our standalone tools we use for @centos #CentOSHyperscale work, as well as a long-overdue revamp of #ebranch for those who often backport large package sets from @fedora to #EPEL !

Sandogasa, now for EPEL and CentOS SIG workflows too!

Caveat lector This post discusses tools reluctantly written with AI assistance. If you don’t entertain using them under any circumstance, and think even reading about them legally compromise your ability to reimplement them yourselves, stop reading now This is a follow-up to the original Sandogasa announcement. Before I ended up fedora-cve-triage to extract library crates and reuse them in the other Sandogasa tools, I already created two tools for managing CentOS Hyperscale SIG workflows, hs-intake and hs-relmon. It simply makes sense to also merge them back in and deduplicate functionalities.

The D&D alignments of developers w.r.t. #GenAI

I tried to post something lighthearted for #April1st . I might have missed the mark, perhaps - I'll let you be the judge! Also there'll be a poll in the replies.

The D&D alignments of developers w.r.t. AI

I have a more serious post coming, but I figured better not risk being confused for a bad joke (especially given the chardet controversy. So instead - something I’ve been promising some people I would write about … the idea that we can classify developers based on their attitude towards (generative) AI, a.k.a. LLMs. Mind you, don’t take this too seriously, and especially, don’t feel singled out. I’m making fun of myself too here! Suggestions for improvements welcome, of course.

Would punk have had a bigger impact into the ’80s? Certainly the punk revival of the mid-90s with Green Day suggests it could’ve been a bigger deal. The covers are good although I don’t believe Surfin’ Bird really fits in with the rest of the album. On the other hand, Do You Wanna Dance? sounds like a happy Ramones song! Blitzkrieg Bop, I Wanna Be Sedated and Sheena Is a Punk Rocker are my 3 favorite Ramones songs so my starter isn’t all that surprising. The middle of the album from Sheena Is a Punk Rocker to Ramona is a great run of tunes. And the best thing about a Ramones album is they run about 30 minutes! Chris’s Notes Pure fun. I want to play in a band that plays songs like this. I’m a sucker for covers “Here Today, Gone Tomorrow” sounds like a big influence on future emo and mood rock Zeitgeist was DDT?? Ramona almost made the bench
