When I do a long ride, I always prioritize exploring and taking some photos rather than focusing on my average speed
A big part of my ride was on a canal. The surface of the path was sometimes challenging: paved or rough blocks of concrete. But most of the time it was smooth and enjoyable

Yesterday, sunny spring is finally coming, so it was time to do a long road bike ride. I prepared my itinerary with #komoot, for exploring a new area: south of #brussels.
I avoided the large roads, but sometimes the road surface was challenging for my road bike.

Gasoline crisis. Diesel prices are breaking through €2 even in self-service stations. The simple arithmetic average of prices reported by the Ministry of Enterprises registers €2.014 per liter, while gasoline stops at €1.806. This is a difference of almost 20 cents in favor of green fuel.

Paris-Provins, marche audax : 28 février au 1er mars 2026
La 9ème édition du Paris-Provins a été avancée cette année au week-end du 28 février 2026.
Pour rappel, il s’agit d’une marche audax de 100 km. L’occasion de se tester sur une longue distance. Possibilité de faire les premiers 25 km, de Vincennes à Brie Comte Robert.
Organisé par le Groupe 503, le Paris-Provins est très bien organisé. Je vous recommande vivement d’y participer !
Après deux participations d’affilées, je ne pourrais être présent sur cette 9ème édition… Jamais 2 sans 3, alors ce sera pour une prochaine fois 😉
