The Tallow Tangle
This is a photograph of new leaves on a Chinese tallow. Shaped somewhat like rounded diamonds, they display a lively mix of green, yellow, and red. In contrast, the background leaves appear muted—a dull grayish green. Though they’re a vibrant green in nature, I’ve adjusted the color properties slightly here for effect.
