A special FX makeup artist has been in a secret relationship with a top actor for 7 years. With no progress in the relationship, she decides to break up & then meets a robot programmed to be a perfect boyfriend. Can a robot develop human emotions?

I couldn't help but compare this to "Are You Human Too?" where Seo Kang Joon did an amazing job portraying subtle differences between human & robot. Here, I really never believed that Yeo Jin Goo was a robot. The male leads did deliver on the emotions, but the female leads felt flat. The supporting characters were well-played.

The first half is cute & funny at times, but the last half never delivered.

「怪物」再視聴したくなってきた。あれはいいドラマやった……。
シン・ハギュンはもうセクシーすぎるしヨ・ジングは最初偉そうでムカつくクソエリート坊ちゃんなんやけど純粋で、デレた後の破壊力すごすぎ。デレてもほとんど表情崩さなくて、でもたまーに泣きそうな目してるのがたまらんのよね。ヨ・ジング演技うますぎ。シン・ハギュンは言うまでもなく。

ミステリー部分も謎が二転三転して読めなくて面白いし、反権力の話でもあるし、人間関係が多彩で丁寧。女性キャラも多彩。刑事のオ・ジファ（キム・シンロク）がめっっっちゃくちゃ好きです。ルッキズムもないし。
