'Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari Season 4' Reveals Production Staff, First Promo
The official website of the Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari Season 4 (The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 4) revealed the production staff, first promotional video, and theme songs on Monday. The fourth season adapting Yusagi Aneko's adventure fantasy light novel will air beginning in July 2025. Vocal and dance group MADKID is returning to perform the opening theme "Resolution," previewed in the promotional video below. J-pop singer Chiai Fujikawa is also returning from the previous seasons to perform the ending theme "Eien ni Ikkai no." Aneko originally began the novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in October 2012. Kadokawa began printing the novel under its MF Books label with illustrations by Seira Minami in August 2013 and released the 22nd volume in June 2019. Kyu Aiya began serializing a manga adaptation in Monthly Comic Flapper in February 2014. Kadokawa published the 27th volume on February 21. One Peace Book licensed both the light novel and manga in English in March 2015. The 22nd light novel volume was released in December 2021, and the 23rd manga volume was released on January 7.
