Otaku Elf is so silly and so much fun. Hands down.
For those unfamiliar, Otaku Elf follows Elda, an immortal elf from another dimension, who serves as the god of a local shrine; and her Miko, Koganei Koito. Koito is a high school teenager and is now dealing with the fact that Elda, is a huge Gunpla, video games, manga, anime, etc nerd and really doesn't like leaving the shrine. She spends some of the shrine's money on her habits to comical effect.
This volume covers the discovery of an old puzzle box and Elda losing it about it; Elda spending money she should not have on a human-sized Gundam model, and a story about Koito and her sister doing an art project.
Overall, it's a cute volume with silly little stories. If you are looking for something with a lot of emotional depth, this isn't it. If you are looking or light fluff comedy pallet cleanser after reading something heavy - consider Otaku Elf. It's fun.

MDMRNSo, I decided to take a stab at recreating another manga cover in Animal Crossing
This time, I went with Otaku Elf, Volume 6. I figured I could try to get the angle and the room setup with Gloria and Shino serving as Koito and Elda, respectively.
Making the screenshot LOOK like a manga cover was...harder. But, I like it!
If only I had any Photoshop skills at all...
