I took Maron out for out walk early this morning. It's cold and dark in the morning so usually it seems wise to just lay in the warm futon and think on the sense-of-wonder moments of the just-gond day and what should be done the coming day but I remembered that I forgot to shut the chicken cages the night before! Awful imaginings for death and mayhem among the Silkies that should be going to make some people happy soon instead of feeding feral cats or neighborhood weasels, martens, or racoon dogs.... So I rushed out to be relieved that the birds are all still alive. But it was too dark to put out their feed, and I think it's the dusk and down when the nocturnal meat eaters (and deer) are most active so I shut the cages and took Maron out for a walk. Some left a ball in the park. Maron seems to have the sort of attitude that proclaims "Posession is nine-tenths of the law" or "Finders Keepers, Losers Weepers".. She was all over that ball.. I was distracted trying to get photos of the mountains and didn't get it from her to throw it for her so she lost interest too... Just as well, maybe some kids wanted to play with the ball later and left it in the park on purpose... #MaronTheShiba #柴犬 #新馬場公園

The sun was coming up but couldn't quite see through the clouds, could just provide hints... Kirishima was mostly obscured, maybe just showing a foot..
