To balance out the metal madness earlier in the week, I attended opening night of Carmen by Seattle Opera. What a performance! The hours flew by fast.

I am so fortunate to be able to go to these events, and I enjoy the differences the experiences bring.

As a friend said when they heard I’d be attending the Opera: Weren’t you at a metal concert earlier this week? You sure are full of contradictions…

I take that as a compliment. 🙂
