For anyone curious, here's my planned votes in today's #Oklahoma #Democratic primary election:

Governor: #CyndiMunson (a tough choice, as I've long been a fan of #ConnieJohnson, but I think Cyndi has shown herself to be a stronger campaigner this year)

State Superintendent: I'm still undecided between Craig McVay and Jennettie Marshall and would appreciate any thougths from progressives and public school advocates as to who is the best choice.

Corp. Commission: #RhondaEastman (primarily because of her opposition to datacenters and the fact that she has a fully-fleshed out campaign website)

US Senate: N'kiyla Jasmine Thomas is getting my vote. She has good positions and has been a tireless campaigner.

US House: Trey Martin --- primarily because I thought Jena Nelson's late and unfounded attacks on him were unfair and rotten, but also because he was endorsed by #BernieSanders.

Two final notes:

1. Several of my second-choice candidates (Connie Johnson, Troy Green, and Jena Nelson all come to mind) will get my vote in the general election if they win the primary, but in a primary, we get to pick who we think is the best fit and/or the most likely to win the general election.

2. For perennial and protest candidates (I'm thinking of my old friend Tom Guild), please, please create a campaign website. I don't understand why you spend the money for the filing fee to throw your hat in the ring, but don't have a strong internet and social media presence. This is very doable for little money. Personally, I think the Democratic party should consider providing some resources to all candidates on this front (i.e. back in the day, I remember getting help from the Green Party for my cammpaign website for a state house run with some basic website templates, etc. ---surely the Oklahoma Democratic Party could do the same)

"Election controversies in neighboring South Korea are not new to Taiwanese audiences. Yet once these stories entered Taiwan’s information environment, they evolved beyond reports of administrative failures."
