#US under #Obama tried and failed at regime change in #Syria. Result - a brutal civil war. More than 6 million #Syrian refugees fled to #Europe. #Europe could not do anything. It could not stop the civil war nor overthrow #Assad on its own. This is one example. There are many more.

#US has started to remove military hardware from Gulf. The THAAD batteries have moved back to Korea and Japan. Hardware has flown out of #Israel. Some hardware, related to #USN is still in Gulf. Whether this is messaging for Tehran and Ayatollahs is not clear.
US is removing elements which will stunt its ability to resume hostilities. It does not seem like a hot war is going to be back.
